Agra – Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is the symbol of eternal love.it is the world’s most unique and beautiful tomb build by Mughal emperors. Magic of Taj Mahal is that it has various reflections at different time. At the sun rise it has pinkish glow while in afternoon it has sparkling glow and milky white glow in the evening. Stunning beauty of Taj Mahal on full moon day has golden glow. It is located at bank of Yamuna reviver, so seeing mirror image of Taj in water would be an amazing experience.

History of Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal, India was built by the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in 1631 in memory of his second wife, Mumtaz. Construction began in 1631 and it took 22 years for completion. 22 thousand people were worked on its construction. It was designed by the Iranian architect Ustad Isa. The material was brought in from all over India and central Asia and it took a fleet of 1000 elephants to transport it to the site.

Other attractions of Agra

Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous monument built by Mughal emperor Akbar. It is one of the beautiful historical architecture.

Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb is another attractive monument in Agra. This beautiful tomb was built by mughal empress Noor Jahan in the memory of her father. It is also known as the Little Taj Mahal. Interior of this tomb is more beautiful than Taj Mahal.

After visiting to these places, we will go toFatepur Sikrit. It was constructed by Mughal emperor Akbar and built in honour of Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. Post visit of Tour to Taj Mahal we will drive back to Delhi.
